Raining for the Next 2 Weeks. Advice for Seedlings

I have a couple of seedlings outside in containers that are about over a week old. They were doing great until it started raining and it will continue raining until the end of May it seems. They are still doing OK with no discolouration but they are starting to look a little unhappy. What is your advice : A) Put plastic wrap over the containers with holes for air or B) Bring them inside under CFLs ? I am contemplating the CFL method as I don't want to mess up any light cycles.

Thanks for your help

both are good ideas, inside you can control the soil temp as well which will be paramount in the next couple of days. Shock the roots, shock the buds.

nail 4 2X's together for a frame and stretch some clear plastic and you've got a warm & cozy cold frame cover

I cut the bottom off a 2L soda bottle and covered my auto seedling with the top part- works like a dome but still vents through the cap opening - shes only 3 days old and doing good- wish the sun would come out though looks like rain right through next Tues.

Cold frame is best idea, leave them in thier growing environment. Plastic cover wrap no good , seedlings dont like high humidity.

I had a similiar problem and did the 2 liter bottle idea mentioned. I cut quite a few holes in the bottle to vent, it was very time consuming as I did this for about 8 plants.

They are too young to be outside. Prep your plants inside till they grow about a foot or two so they can handle whatever is thrown at them outdoors. Research "rangerdanger" because he has very good guide on guerrilla grow. Some may apply and some may not but overall has helpful info.
