my eight plants are almost 4 months old now and about 3 and a half feet tall. i have a rabbit gaurd fence surrounding all my plants, but i'm considering removing it so that the plants dont stick out as obviously. there are no deer whatsoever in this area, just rabbits and squirells..

should i be ok to remove it, or leave it up to be safe?

you could remove the fence and put a tonne of snares around the plot.....get some good stew to......all you need is some maluble copper wire....

Are you using organic ferts like blood or bone meal, or a fish product? If so I'd be a lot more worried about a possum or some shit uprooting your plants then a rabbit nibbling on them.

Is that a hawk or an eagle? to me it looks like a malting bald/golden eagle......looks to big to be a bald tho........

allthought, taking another look at the pic it could be just the angle.

Oh i might have had to make some rabbit stew after this...lol
Hehheh.. now, that's what I'm talkin' about. Same with chickens, I bet they'd eat that shit RIGHT up. Pigs.. I'm not sure, but when I was raising them, they did pretty much eat anything. Goat's guaranteed, huh?
Or you could do what i do.

DEATH FROM ABOVE!
WOW!!!! Color me SUPER impressed. I just found out yesterday that we've got bald eagles in the area, Pardee Dam.

When I was teenager there was a falconer in our neighborhood. Takes a great deal of patience and skill, raptors are not easy to work with.

Ok, I only grow outdoors. I had a mystical brain fart one day while in Wal-fart. I was standing in the Grillin & Grillin Accessories Isle (my name is not Hank Hill). They have these little throw away grill guards for 97 cents each. They are made of aluminum, and are about two feet by two feet. They are a pretty tight mesh and flexible. So, I bought some, painted them flat green, cut them in half & wrapped them around the main stems of my plants.
You get protection up to two feet on two plants for a buck.
I had one or two rabbits, rats or squirels try to take a bite. I guess it hurt their teeth or tasted like shit. No worries now, all my plants are still standing & they are eating elsewhere.
