quick question

k so ive seen alot of pictures and some of them have like half of the leaves clipped off. like the points of some of the leaves are cut off. can anyone tell me why that is?;-)

its most likely on cuttings you cut the bigger fan leafs in half to help them root i cant remember exactly what it does as of now and also if the leaf tips are dead but the other half is fine then some people cut. but if it is not done for theses reasons then theri is no point in doing it more leaf means more bud production

^The bigger fan leaves are cut, so that the cutting can more easily keep itself hydrated. If they have too much foliage, they will get droopy, being that there is no root stsyem to keep the foliage hydrated. Rooting times, will suffer, as well. :)

i had another question too. should i be watering the buds? because usually when i water it i mist the plant all around with a spray bottle. should i not be doing this?

Well-Known Member
No, you should quit misting after the buds have formed. It invites bud mold, and is too risky, IMO. :)
