Quick Question on Topping issue w/pics

Hi there. Having an issue with one of my plants that I topped a little too late. It’s a beautiful Malawi and because I topped too late it now has 4 main top colas that are growing together as a pair. I worry about mold because in fall I get fog in the morning. It is very dense between the colas and even the fan leaves are getting resin glands. Can I try to tie them apart and give them some breathing space or just leave them and watch them? Thanks please see pics…it smells unreal and tropical!

Looks like PM may have already shown up. The white blotches on the leaves are no good unless that’s residue from a spray you may have used.
I’ve only done a few runs outdoors, but I can say that leaves that overlap, and rest on each other is prime real estate for powdery mildew/mold to form. Try minimizing leaf to leaf contact. That should help keep mold at bay. You can use 3% peroxide on a clean cloth to wipe the affected leaves.
