Quick question lights for sexing?

Some stuff has come up so my hps wont be here for a week or two. Can i use the bulbs I have been for sexing if I just go to 12/12..?

The bulbs are 4 2700k cfls
2 5500k t8's
2 6500k t8's...

Yeah it should work fine, as long as you have enough light for the plants to survive and you switch to 12/12, you will be fine.

I would keep vegging and wait for the HID.

You could do it I guess but the HPS is better, way better

I just need to sex them. The light will be here in 2 weeks maybe even next week. I just wanted to get a jump start so when the hid gets here they have already done their 2 week swing. Im going to give it a shot. Im in day 2 already so.... its worth a try i guess. I can always swing back into veg if I don't like whats going on.

I had to do the same thing once, will work fine just dont flower em under the cfls too long, no more than about 2 weeks max.

it worked great 6 days to sex and 4 outta 6 were males from feminized seeds oh well i guess there was a lesson to learn there. Don't spend the extra money on fem beans. At least i got two. And she has already given me 4 babies
