K we have had some heavy rain for the past 3 days and I went and checked on my pLantz which are in 10 and 15 gal smart pots and they were sitting in about a inch of water at bottom of pots. They look good but I lifted them up and looked at bottom of a pot and some roots grew through the bottom and were brown and slimey. Should I be concerned will my plants be OK in that spot until it drys up this is my first time outdoors and I've never had root rot just wanting to know if I should be worried or not looks like they have about 4 or 5 more weeks of flower they are in subconscious super soil

The roots should fall off or atleast be dead and then fall off. My plants grew straight thru the pots and stick to the ground like velcro so I would say ur plants would be find BUT get them off the ground so they arent just flooded with water. Ull get root rot if u let them wait it out.

Is it true that they'll have a huge root ball in those smart pots and a bigger yield than growing in the ground? Good luck with your project!
