Quick question abo uut dtw setup

I'm just wondering if your reservoir is a barrel do you pump the water out the top of the barrel? Mine has a hose and tap on the bottom for some reason.

yeah the best solution is to use a surface pump out of the barrel .. with the PELD hose diving inside from the top
the hose at the bottom is useful to empty the reservoir between the runs, using gravity
sounds like a headache to pump from the bottom, if you need to take off the hose sometimes .. and even more if it starts to leak etc
