Quick n Dirty Harvest

One negative from telling nobody about your grow is that then there is nobody to help when another set of hands is needed. I just started harvesting and soon realized my two torn rotator cuffs were not happy about it. I wet trim. Usually finsh a plant before moving to the next. After doing 1 full plant I realized I needed to do something different or I may not finish. I switched to harvesting all the major colas, but they are not fine-trimmed like usual...small sugar leaves left. Fan and other larger leaves removed. Rest of plant is still sitting in the same drying room these colas are now hanging in...waiting for my shoulders to quit barking.
i guess the question is. If you had half the time to do a harvest than usual, how might you go about it. What corners might you cut with the least amount of quality sacrificed. Should note, I only have one room to do everything so once I start harvesting everyone is in the dark as they wait their turn with the barber. Generally, I am done in a couple days. I am at a couple days and at my current feeble pace, I need a couple more.

Well I wouldn't call it cutting corners, but when I harvest I just cut off branches, pull all leaves without resin off, and hang dry. Leaving some leaves on slows the drying process down. This allows me more time to tightly manicure. I label each container with the jarring date to keep track of which ones have the most moisture. Before they get trimmed they do some time in paper bags off of the branches once I feel they are at the point where hanging them in the dry room will make them too dry. I used to trim everything wet, but it seemed inefficient.

Thanks it was kind if what I did. I kinda like popcorn but I blew it off and tossed it this time along with some other smaller buds to save time and my shoulders. Everything is hanging and drying waiting for final trim and jarring.
I wet trim because I was taught that way but I have experimented with dry trimming. It seems easier to me to go wet... Mainly because the leaves are sticking out so nicely. Appreciate the response, thx again.

I always find that I lose more resin wet trimming and I have to go back over the buds again when they're dry anyway.
I started off wet trimming also. Once you start growing monster outdoor plants you stop wet trimming.

Same here..once I'm i the last week I'm down there every day trimming a little here and there. I'm also a 1 man op and starting to think 2lbs a mth is going to be too much for me..looking into a machine like one of these:
Manual one for $105

Powered for just under $400

I've heard mixed reviews, seems like some people don't like the look of the machine trimmed bud.

Slow dry it and trim it at a comfortable pace it doesn't matter if it takes a few extra days.

How did you do this round dave?

I use a Chinese trimmer it was four or five hundred bucks...it does pounds per hour

Cured the buds don't look much different... Not enough for me to care anyhow when I figure the time saved

It eats popcorn if you're not careful .....and fingers

Yeah, I dumped an lb in the fire about a month ago. There should be a marijuana underground railroad where personal growers with too much and no interest in selling could supply medical users in illegal states.
