Quick harvest question

I know this is probably an easy answer but it's my first grow I'm about 80 days intofflowering on a holy grail kush girl scout cookies and headband about 70% milky trichomes and 30% clear do I need to just stay patient? The leaves are dying off and hairs are mostly turning Orange! I did make a minor mistake of not shaking my nutrients up before use until halfway through flowering could that cause them to take more time to mature?

What do the calyx look like are they swollen and are the hairs residing. A pic would also help. Trichs very from day till night and look at overall plants are the buds swollen and fat looking and dense or feel soft/airy

At the end of the day it all depends on the Trichomes. Usually it ready with 70 percent milky with 30 percent clear. Orange Red and Purple colors are all part of the plant maturing. The leaves will die off due to plant using all it energy to produce fruit.

ALTHOUGH, TO REALLY KNOW IT READY. You need to take a taste test. Not everyone has the same taste. Its like having coffee not everyone wants their coffee black. You want to take a popcorn sample and try it out. Once you feel it ready by preference then start process of flushing. Then enjoy.

If you have any questions Always glad to help.

Head highs are the best. The problem with pure couch lock. It hits you like the amtrak train. Pretty much your done for the day. Yeah definitely that sounds good. Although it comes down to practice and technique. I love the old saying practice makes perfect.

Just take it slowly and patiences my friend. People who rush end up dropping anchor on there foot. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Mistakes are bound to happen but that where you learn the most.

Your doing a good job. If your getting the results you like. Its time flush and enjoy. Good plant is like fine wine. It needs to be savored.

Never be afraid of mistakes. you only learn and become a better grower. Its same thing with Japanese and cars back in the 1970s.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Flush, flush and wait a few days without watering again and chop them. I switch off the sun 72hours before harvest and leave them in the dark.
Here are 2 pics of my last grow, right after darkperiod, just before harvest.
