Quick Cloning Question

So after I cut the clone, I leave it in the room with my 18/6 light schedule veg plant. For those who start under 18/6, does it matter what time of the day I start the clone or should I aim for right after I turn on the light?

I don’t think it matters much, if any. I cut mine at various points of the light schedule then they go straight to 24 hour lighting until they root.

It doesn't matter

Stick your clones in a shadowed area in veg
Clones need very little light to root
The lighting is to keep them from flowering

Ok I just cut it and put it in a cube. Hopefully one day it can grow some fatties. Thanks for the quick responses.
