Questions about nutes and feeding...

So I have botanicare pure blend pro, bloom and grow also with it liquid karma and general organics cal mag+ ....as it goes now I've been watering about once a week. My medium is 50% coco loco 50% roots organic potting soil.


I went to botanicares website and did the calculator for nutes...

I know ur supposed to use 1/4 to 1/2 strength. But was wondering if this calculator compinsates

Also wondering if I'm supposed to PH water before or after adding nutes?

And what should the ph be, since I'm in two different mediums...


And the last question is that botanicare feeding chart says feed every watering ?

Should I be doing that? Or every other one? Or what

OP the calculator seems to be compensating on calmag and liquid karma but not grow. A nice mix you have there. I read the highlights on roots organic and it sounds like it has great natural nutes, enough for germ and first few weeks if you went 50/50. Nice mix. I'd say wait at least two weeks before running any nutes/supplements. Just water with PH water. To answer your question, add to your water in this order.. calmag, liquid karma, grow or bloom, then PH adjust the water. I'd say shoot for 6.2 every time.

Okay on to Botanicare. Great choice.. it's mostly organic and it's easy. As a noob I went from Fox Farms to DynaGrow, and settled with Botanicare. It works, it's easy, it's mostly organic and it makes clean smoking buds. They've revised their expert schedule a few times, I'm attaching the one I've found to work best. For light N feeders, you may use as little as 5ml grow per gallon. Other than that follow the schedule, forget the calculator.

On when to use your nutes, I'd say germ in that mix and let em go with water only for at least two weeks. Then start expert feed schedule at week 2. Every watering, enough to produce runoff every time, bam all set. PH everything, every time. even misting water.
