Questions about my plants

This is starting at the bottom of my plants where my drain holes are at.. help?? They look healthy and are still thriving wonderfully this is happening in almost every plant.

How does it smell? I would only worry if it smells like sewage or some other nastiness. Otherwise as said above it's nothing to worry about, just fungi doing their thing. I get some crazy mold underneath the mulch on my soil sometimes, too

If the air has a scent of fresh mushrooms, your in the money!!! True, an imbalance of fungi can distorte, but you want that essence of fresh earthy mushie. Don't fret broski, it'll soon become dominated with a sweet dank funk. Plants do communicate, just gotta learn to speak their language. Time in grade brother!
 
Mold means damp. I used to grow in plastic. Have you ever tried growing in fabric pots? Very hard to over water with the increased air flow to the roots. The root ball is so much healthier and evenly dispersed in the soil.
