Is growing with leds diffrent from cfls?

different as in what aspect? naturally, a different setup will require different tweaks from the grower to get the best out of his / her setup..
off of the top of my head i can think of one difference.. with cfls, you usually keep the lights as close to the plants as possible, and with leds, you definitely want more space between the two..
i'm sure there's a few other differences as well.. maybe ask around in the led subforum on here m8 as we have tons of peps on here that are super knowledgeable about led grows and are more than willing to help out that i've noticed..

Yes, those who grow with LEDs are rich upper middle class nobs that can never get anything right in life, many suffer the curse of ADHD, are lonely with parents divorced and family too embittered to cope.
Those who grow under CFL's, are usually under 18 yo, living at home trying to grow cannabis in a 5 gallon rubber-maid or smaller, are often on here and other great sites asking most basic questions, because they don't, or can't quite read as yet

with leds you do not get much heat so you have to be careful not to over water.
