This may sound dumb but i got like 4 different answers when i looked it up

so i keep my plants in their small pots until about 3 weeks then i move them to 5 liter pots.

at 3 weeks i was told to give them a root growth additive (im useing Vitamin B-1) and move them under better light like 4 cfl's

when do I change the lighting from 18 hours a day to 12? like when does the vegatative state begin and end?

and when do I add the bloom chemical?

I bought "bloom" by sun & soil that is 0-10-10 and a PH value of 0.4

the directions say to use it every 3-4 weeks and dilute it 1 table spoon per gallon of water

help?

Yes, keep your plants in there started pots until they are about 3 weeks old and looking healthy. Then transplant to their final pots. Either 3.5 to 5 gallons pots. Depending on how big you want them, decide on those pots sizes. You don't want to transplant too much, this stresses the plant.

You change from 18 hours of light to 12 hours of light when they are at least 8-12 inches tall and show pre flowers. Don't put them into 12/12 until you see pre flowers. If you don't wait, and put them into 12/12 before pre flowers, this could stress the plant.

Those nutes you bought are most likely for flowering. They have no N in them so get some other nutes with N. Plants use N during the veg stage. And I wouldn't use it every 3-4 weeks. I use my nutes whenever I water.

EEKs!! Anywayz,:spew: from seed, without forcing things, it should take anywhere from 6-10 weeks to start 'pre-flowering'(look it up, it's a hair thing:evil:), then you can pretty much start with the mentioned 'nutes(nukes?:joint::peace:)' and 12/12 cycle...:blsmoke:
Sorry, :cry:can't help you with the 'root-growth' additive/stuff as I use '!@#$% special formula' which is not available outside Australia ;) - just kidding, I don't use any root stuff, just pray alot:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:, bit of rain-dancing around the plants now and again:hump::hump:GL!!!
