question regarding watering when plants are flowering

i have 5 plants 2 1/2 weeks into budding a they are looking awesome... Is it normal for the plant to suck up the water when budding. i soaked them pretty good about 48 hours ago and the soil already seems to be dry and the pots are not very heavy. im using led and cfl lighting and there are no heat issues... I know overwatering is a no no but i also dont want to underwater ...i have heard you should tend to let the soil dry out during budding but not sure if this is true..... any simple advise ?

This is normal I'm sure.

I know some plants people say they water them 2-3 times a day, some plants like to be watered once a week, some like it every 24 hours. All plants are different, that is why some people only grow strains they know because if you grow a different strain every time you can run into problems. If you grow strains you know the ins and out of you will never run into a problem.
