Question regarding cobs wiring

Any ideas on what is the best way to wire cobs in series from two different heat sinks. I was thinking of a small efficient setup for a 2x2:

cxb3590 x4
hgl 120h c1050
5.88" x 13" heat sink x2

I just wanted a clean safe way to connect one cob in series to the cob on the other heat sinks.

Thanks you guys have a fantastic community here

OMG, that driver holder bar with the vents, knobs and plugs. Amazing. Are those grommets that the cob wires are going through? Great illustration of 1" by 1" 90° angled aluminum stock (Thanks PerroVerde and Abiqdua). He even has rubber stoppers on the legs of the eye-bolts to stand it up safely. I'm knocked out, a lot of talent here.

I would like to see more pics of that light.. It looks like the feet can be adjusted by a nut under the angle iron and hung from those eye hooks on top..real slick.
here ya go, just one post..... but a handful of pics :peace:

Bonjour
If you put your driver in the box you will have more heat that you can let outside...
It depend where you grow...but driver pull a lots of heat...I put mine on the roof of my grow box with a 50mm fan on it...
I love.@alesh build but maybe he need driver heat for his grow space...but since we took...most of us...cobs because of low heat why add some more where we could another way?
It is just 1 (2) wire who come from the roof and who use the first hs chain to go to the first cob and another to the last...and with aluminum corner you will make a very nice panel...plus you choose one of the best configuration for your grow box...2x2 did you think about reflector for the corners...not the one in the middle...to increase penetration!??

With this build in a 2 x 2 at full blast your looking at a PPFD of 1058... With about 60 watts of waist heat... Nice :)

How comes that I can't see the pictures? I've noticed it a few times already in your posts.

I don't know why that is Alesh....:) You are right, it seems to happen alot, particularly to me....it was showing for about the 1st hour or so....

I am just linking the Image address to the Image tab, maybe I should hotlink it myself? BB forums are funny sometimes.....or they are watching me!

Believe it or not, some people are having trouble having ENOUGH heat in their grow tents ... !
In winter, I sometimes struggle to keep temps above 24°c, sometimes dropping to 20-21°c which results in slower growth.
When well under 20°c, you get calcium deficiencies too.

If you put it in perspective .. with a "typical" maxed out 56% CXB3590 build with HLG-185 setup driver heat is aonly about 10% ...

- ~88W of direct 'waste' heat at the cobs.
- 10~12 W of driver heat.

So the difference is about 10-12% less heat with drivers in the tent vs out.
