Question on when to harvest

i have 4 master kush babe's about 5-6 weeks into flowering, they were originally in an attic and started to die as entering flowering due to the extreme heat, and left there for a couple weeks. now they are somewhere else much cooler. i figure this heat stroke probably stunted their flowering stage a little. probably two weeks behind. my question is do i let them make up for the two weeks there were up there or harvest at the 8th week. im sure people will tell me to look at the trichomes and hairs to establish that. im not an idiot i know that. but would heat affect this?:weed:

Yes heat could definitely affect your bud production, but it's not going to add additional time you would need to keep flowering. It still went through the same amount of light cycles as it would have if in a cooler place. Just probably won't produce as much as it would have under normal conditions.

Check hairs and trichomes...still applies no matter what

the calyxes will be swollen, 70-100% of the hairs will be brown, and the trichs will look done under magnification. There are a lot of opinions about the trichs. Personally, I like em slightly brown. Other folks chop stuff down when they are cloudy with some brown. Your call really. I look more at the buds to see if they are swollen up properly. I wish I had pics to show the difference or what the heck I'm referring to, but sadly I don't. They just seem fatter and develop a brownish tinge to them. Once that happens, it's time to get your sticky fingers on! Hope this helps.
