Question on air circulation

I have a...

28 inch height
27 inch width
16 inch long

grow box with a 5x5 inch 44 CFM fan for intake and another 5x5 inch 44 CFM fan for exhaust. Is this enough air movement for my plants?

if you only do one or two plants, and the box is in a environmentally controlled area, then that should be enough, but barely. the problem you will run into is you will at some point want to put something to block light, and maybe something to filter the smell. then those fans will not push near enough. if you want to look at newegg and look at computer fans, it will let you sort by cfm, decibels, price, and a slew of other criteria. maybe this can give you an idea or a new direction to go into. good luck.

Well damn... i was hoping to use filters to deal with the smell. How bad do you think the scent would be if i ran this set up without filters? with 1-2 plants in there? If the cpu fans dont work what is an alternative?

ok i see the fan search criteria deal on newegg. very nice... i guess my question now is what CFM would I need for my intake and exhaust fans to grow 3 plants with the odor filters
