I am getting a 2x4 6ft tall heavy workshop shelving unit and going to add ligts and tube sites for the plants( Avalon or GWS clones)
the light set up for the bottom where the tubes and lower lights i was thinking of placing in this order
Notes:
1.Tubes will be PVC that is 3in wide and 22in lengths capped with 2 in nets and 2 air stones in the tube running DWC.
2. CFL 125wts will be normal Daylight ones at the 6700 range with actaul watts used of 26wts.
3. CLF 300 wts will be the 2700 range ones with actaul usage of 68wts.
4. for the 1st set of lights that are for the bottom the will be suppended down near the lower branch lvls on stakes in the correct spacing to hopelfully provide the light that my top lights will not be able to pentare the foilage to provide.

6" down for last row of lights

So i will be having the following amount of lights total for the set up in a 2x4 ft lighting area.
Daylight CFL 4x 125= 500wts
CFL 8x 100= 800wts

softwhite 2700 CLF 5x 300wts = 1500wts
So pls if you can let me know if this looks like it should work total wts in lights is 2800wts and spearding it at different lvls to try to get the full effectivness.
Each plant will have 12"by 16" room to grow and will have about 44" top room in hight subtracting the tubes and the light hieght that will be needed.
actaul wts used on lights will be about 23wtsx12 =276wts
68wtsx5 = 340wts
