Ok, I'm currently bout to finish my current grow, and have been truly impressed with some of the scrog grows I've seen.
My ? Is this, I currently have a 4wX 6Lx 7h grow room with a 400mh and 600hps with light mover. How many plants should I use and how far up should I place the screen.
I'm going to be growing WW and big bud XXL

The general guideline is 1 clone per square foot but sometimes you can do a little more as long as air flow and such is good. The height of the screen varies depending on the strain and how tall you expect it to get but, again, generally 12-16 inches above the tops of the rooted clones. Best of luck with the next grow!

Joe Hemp[/QUOTE preciate the info. I'm going to be going from fem seeds, so how long yopu think I should let them go before I lower the screen and start triaining them

That's REALLY a situation specific question and a "general" answer might not be a very good one... but, when you have an idea of how big these plants will be by the time they finish (because you don't want too much unsupported weight above the screen) you can set your screen up and start arranging your plants. If you're growing from seed which means size may vary more than with clones, I would say second week of flowering. But that's just my opinion without knowing the strain info etc. and other SCROG growers might vehemently disagree with me.

Like I say it's a very subjective question but I personally just set my screen, let them grow into it and make adjustments later. Once you've seen how things go on your first grow you'll have it figured out much better for next time. Best of luck with this one and let us know how it goes.
