Question: difference btwn HPS magnetic ballast assembled and assemble my own??

Hello fellas, I am now about to purchase some new ballasts, HPS 1000w, for use them maybe with some Hortilux super HPS light, and I was wondering if there is any difference (lumens, intensity or something) between buying a regular ballast (I was thinking sunlight supply 1000hps 200dlls + or -) and buying the kit unassembled (80 dlls + or -) and put it all together myself, I've done some research and the only thing i've found is the difficulty to arm it, but I do understand electric diagrams so that would not be a problem for me. I would apreciate some advice.

Ok it looks that there's no big difference then, haha i am then buyin unassembled ballasts, hope it works ok, if the guarantee is the only difference, for the price of 1 with guarantee i can buy 2 1/2 without guarantee so it sounds good to me, thanks for your response Spanish Fly, i've read your thread about sexing, its a good one!
