I am putting the ladies in the dark tonight just wondering the roots are well into the resevoir so is it neccesary to keep the feeding line on them? the lights dim everytime the a/c kicks on and I can't vaccum without shutting half the room down or I pop a fuse. Was just wondering cause every little bit counts so if its not needed why use it.

No it isn't necessary but that pump isn't using or saving that much power. I would talk to an electric guy about the dimming, of course without showing him the grow room.

Not worried about it I live in apartment. But either way I'm medical. I'm aware its not the cause of the dimming but this is just one of many things getting unplugged this is just the one I wasn't sure if I should keep it goin or not

So... Keep it on off? I guess what I am lookingfor is am I gonna cut myself short tryin to save on power by taking out the top feed or should I even notice a difference in yield? I'd like to unplug anything possible but if its gonna have to big an effect ill leave it on but like I said the roots are piling up at the bottom of the res.

Take it off if it makes you feel better. I didnt even know people used feeding tubes in DWC until I came here. If I had to buy pumps I would just go ebb and flow.

Remove that bisnitch.

Just what I was lookin for. Thanks! (Oh and I personally use a feed tube. Cuase my setup doubles as a cloner. I just take my cut stick it in rockwool and throw them in the system within 2-3 weeks the roots are gettin to the water.) But as far as I know they're used for similar reasons like they can't be home to handwater them all the time til they get their roots in the water or the like so they throw a pump in and forget about it. And I'm sure there are people out there who swear combinoing the two makes all the difference. Not sure myself I just watch them grow and smoke em when they're ready
