Question about trimming smaller buds?

would it help at all to cut off the smaller buds at the bottom of the plant, that aren't getting any light? the plant is about 8 weeks into flowering, about 2 weeks left till harvest.

im wondering if it would give the top buds more size.
anyone ever do an experiment with this with 2 plants?

no... ur too far into it now... next time do this 1-3 weeks into ur 12/12 stage... doin it now will do minumal increase if any... u could always supercrop in veg to alow those lil nugs at the botom to become tops and increase ur yeild, optimize ur lights and space if u have vertical space to play with

finish it and start over next time lolly pop
it and put a fan at the lower part of the plant to increase air flow and bud production.
