Question about trichomes

OK I have really good loking plant at day 58 off flowering...
This is my second grow and first time I grew.same strains but didnt get That relaxing couchlock effect That I want.. So I blame strain genetics and seed banks but as more I read I m thinking the problem was me and too early harvest.. Didnt have microscope first time...
Tommorow I Will get x60 microscope and really hope That I can see That amber color with it..

OK... So my plant have lots of trichomes So if I let her go 1 or 2 weeks from breeder schedaule and under microscope see most That amber color I must get That effect That I want...
Right?

Could I see That amber color under microscope on living plant and when dry to not get high.. if you understand what I want to say... Haha

Really need That sedating type of high and really doubt about my choice of strain and sedbank...
But trichomes are there on plant and I must be getting That effect if I harvest when I see That amber color...

I didnt read much at begineng and now I see That are much better seed banks out there... But I amat the fina stage with this plant and really want to pull That sleep medicine...

In my last go round I harvested a part of the plant early and part a week later and so over four weeks, the early stuff was weak and it developed as the weeks went on. This was Tangerine Dream so a sativa dom, but I'll bet the Kush show more Indica traits. I'm now testing the different batches, each in it's own jar, to see how much the cure changes things.
I started the next go round with a Northern Lights and a TD, but they are only just showing true leaves, so I'm hoping for a Merry Christmas.

I've read that you should harvest from the top down, leaving the lower buds to ripen a bit after the tops come down. The 60X scope will do the job for you. Just get good light and watch them develop.

Pleasee guys...some expert that understand what I asking for...

The plant must get me high when I see that amber color in trichomes ?

Can it be that plant have lot of trichomes and not get you high ?

Let it go longer to get amber trichomes,and youl get the stone you want,afghan kush should be sedative anyway.

Belive me same strain same seed bank...the plant first time lookin to my eye ready ..but 0 buzz smoking it and hay smell taste...

Genetics/Strain is EVERYTHING!
You need certain strains to do what you are asking for, simply waiting for the trichs to turn brown ain't gonna work if it's a Sativa dom.
Next grow get some Indica dominant plants, or for pain, CDB's.
I gave up using scopes, now I just wait for the hairs to turn almost completely brown, then I cut, and that seems to work pretty well.

True about genetics but afghan kush should be sedative not a high,and should also be 100% indica.

Are my eyes gone be red from afghan...
Every time my eyes turn red it is good effect on me..
