Hey I was just wondering if anyone had some tips to cut down on light escape/filtration without skyrocketing the temp. I have a 2' tall x 14'' wide x 10.5'' deep trash can I am growing in with a 10" tall starter chamber I have 4 26W cfl but only one running as of right now about 4 inches from the rockwool (2 day old sprout, 24hours on, maintaining 85F ) I need to add the other three but I HAVE to trade out the foam I am using for something a little breezier. I am using 3 27 cfm computer fans b/c I need to keep it quiet and keep the power down. Any tips for what material/technique you guys use would be sooooooo appreciated! (Kudos will be given :blsmoke:)

if you build a small housing to put a pc fan in you can with less or no light leaks. have a tube enter the housing then leave the can. Ill try to elaborate? imagine a tissue box with a fan blowing into it attached to your sidewall. then inside that box an escape to the outside using tubing. if you place this box above the cfl hoods it should help a lot (since all the heat is up there and the light isnt so damn bright). oh have the fan hole on the opposite side than the lights. hope this helps.
