question about poping seeds?

I am growing a fire mystery purple strain from bagseed which I found 10 seeds of the first round i poped 4 all germinated but no males and just ended up growing for bud. I was trying to do a breeding project but it failed my friend who also found the same seeds i have said he poped 2 and all females. An og grower friend of my family along time ago said for roughly about every 4 seeds you plant theres a 50/50chance of a male or female If i plant 5 should i get at least one male so i can do the breeding project again?

Yes more than likely a male ,the question is will there be a male that suits your needs pheno wise.I been doing what DJ shorts once said the system rub once it's been in growing a while ,couple of week,into flower,he picks the one that smells best,I know most of my females normally stink so I tend to go for growth patterns.me my self I wouldn't breed with seed from as bag of weed,because these are from as plant that has Hermied this could carry over,if the seeds are from a regular grown female, and it's produced seeds then there a chance they may be feminized
