Quick questions about my seedlings. They are looking pretty good. Working on their second set of leaves and roots are almost to the point where I need to transplant out of cups to 2 gallon pots. I have 2 Blue Mystic, 1 White Rhino, 1 Blue Cheese, and 1 Wonder Woman, all feminized seeds. I PH adjust everything and use a soil mix consisting of: 50% Organic soil, 20% perlite, 20% coco, and 10% organic worm castings. I have only had to water them three times over the past 2 weeks. The second time I used 1 drop of superthrive and .5 ml of technaflora's ROOT99 (1/2 dose).
Questions:
1. The Wonder Woman's first set of leaves (not cotyledons) are turning a purpleish color underneath. I have read that stems can get purple.. but is it alright if leaves do? This early? It is only that strain. Plant looks great overall.
2. I only have 126 WATTS of 2700K CFLS right now. I plan on transplanting and putting them under a 400WATT EIKO 4000K MH BULB for a few weeks till flower. What harm have I done using 2700K for 2 weeks of veg on the seedlings? I can only pick these bulbs up in my area.
3. I also have a Hortilux EYE Enhanced Spectrum 400WATT HPS light I was planning on just using for seedlings. Should I skip out on the EIKO 4000K and just use the hortilux? I have read that MH bulbs should be 6500K for veg..?
