Question about mounting a carbon filter/fan in a tent

I am using a Secret Jardin Wide Dark Street 2.5: 2' x 4' x 5'6 tent.

Hey,

First grow and I have been flowering in my tent for almost 4 weeks now. I was wondering if I could mount my carbon filter and fan at the top of the tent.
I love to get some more space for my babies to go and maybe drop the temps down a degree or two.

I am worried about weight issue with the lowrider 6" relector I have and the fan/carbon will be too much weight on this tent?

I loved my SJ tents, and had that one too. you'll have to try it out, check the stress. I added supports to mine, some screwed in 1x4s to mount to the top.

The tent is really great!! I checked it out and it seems its pushing it a little. I will do the mount at the top like you mentioned. Might need to wait until end of flower.. don't want to get everything dirty I guess. Do you have a photo of how it looks, did you screw it straight into the wall through the tent? If not I'll figure it out tho ..

no pics, sry, I put a board on the top of the tent, across all of the supports, then attached hanging things through the tent into he board on the roof, allowing the load to spread through the supplied supports evenly.
