Hi every1, first time grower here :bigjoint: Im really excited that my baby sprouted last night and withing about 12 hours its grow 3 inches!!! Anyway, its a closet grow, 1 plant, i have it in a box thing i made, i am just wondering....Should i spend 100+$ on an inline fan? Or would it be better to spend about 30$ on a duct booster fan? Oh ya, almost forgot to mention, im currently using a 90 watt ufo, and im planning on adding abot 120 more watts of cfls for budding time, so heat shouldnt be an issue. Thnx for any comments

Well with one plant and Led's you won't need much for extraction, however those boosters don't do much at all. I've got a 6" extraction fan & using a 4" booster for inlet air & it hardly does anything at all. Just upgraded to a nice inline from HTG Supply & it is much better!

It would be worth it to get a decent inline fan. Booster fans don't always have the cfm they're supposed to. There are two different cfm measurments on the box if you look. They boost cfm up to a certain point. So if one is 160 cfm that fan will boost the CFM for anything under 160. After 160 it's not doing anything. Get the inline. YOu can get a decent one for around 80 bucks that's around 170 -180 cfm. If you don't have the money, the duct fan works too, just not as well.
