question about disrupting the light cycle

Hi, I'm growing some auto flowering plants which are currently in the vegetation and I have to leave them off for three or four days because I have to leave town and since they're growing inside my computer case, I don't want my folks to find out or get curious why it's running when I'm not there. So my question is, what will happen to the plants if they don't get any light for 3 or 4 days? Will they die? Will their growth be stunted ?

My other option is to wait until they are in flowering stage, then leave town for a few days and then leave them without light for a few days...... would this be a better option to the aforementioned one ? Please provide some insight ...
