idk if you can overwater ur clone at first....cuz i just leave the end of my clone dipped a little in water (for about a week) and wait for the roots to come out, then i put them in soil. and put a dome over them(like a 2 liter coke bottle to make a dome) to keep them moist, then after about 4-5 days in the domes the root system is pretty much good to go and grow. Im certainly no pro but i just got 5 successful clones growing doing it this way. This is probably the best way to do it if your on a tight budget. hope this helps!

i have heard that people do root clones in nothing but water but i havent tried it. I get good enough results using the same $10 bottle of rootone that i have been using for almost 2 years now, that I got from wal-mart. It just seems like the investment is worth it in reduction of hassle.

yea i agree that rooting hormone would def be worth the investment....I use the water method and it so far has been a 100% success rating but it really is just a pain in the ass, so if you got money for root hormone id get it but if not water works just the same
