QUESTION ABOUT CLAMP LIGHTS -quick please answer if possible

can you remove the alum. shield/reflector from the 10-15$ clamp lights that you can place CFL's in from hardware stores? - and use just the socket?

i just need a socket that's already wired to plug in and i can just plug in, place bulb in, and use thanks!

that would be the preferred method..you can also buy a splitter to plug into the socket so you can run 2 bulbs per socket
