i have a quantum series lighting 1000w ballast that has the dimmable switch for 100% 75% and 50% im growing with a 400w hps and i was wandering what dim i should have it on? only growing one plant now just getting all my stuff together and getting used to it. the guy at the hydro store told me that the bulb with last an hour..? idk if he mis understood me on the phone but from what i understand you can grow with a 400 w hps in a 1000w ballast right? any help would be much appreciated thanks!
