what would happen if you took autos 5 weeks from seed pop and 18 hours of light to 12 hours? i'm assuming you would just loose those hours of production. peace.

An autoflower's timer is internal and not light-dependent.
Shortening the light period will not affect flowering other than decreased yields.

I have two autos going in my 4x4 tent now. Both are over 90 days, and have been on a 20/4 light cycle. Light source is a 1000w HPS with a 50w LED side light fill in.
I don't even close up the tent anymore. The room and window light did effect them at all. The went to flower right on schedule and are growing real well.
