question about 250w hps/mh- ph/ppm levels

new to site and growing would like some help if possible. want to use 250w hps/mh light system would like to know how many plants will be ok under this light. also if i could get some in detail about ppm /ph levels during growth proccess.

what arer u growing in? dirt? hydro? aeroponic?

ppm follow directions on label, usually 50% strength is more than enough
ph - 5.8 hydro / 6.2 soil

small area, 2x2 max 3x3
