Hey FTW mylar is used to reflect the light(to make it mosre useful) you can by it by the roll at any hydro supplier but if your grow is enclosed as it should be you can paint the walls with white paint. If your low on cash you could use the shiny side of tin foil....lol..we have all been there

1 26w would grow a plant, keep the lights about 1 inch from the tops, you will have to move daily

You want those cfls to be 6500k for seedlings,,,clones,,,and veg...then you want 2700k for flowering. The two four footers are great but try changing over those 2700 to daytime 6500k as well. one or two can be 2700k but multi spectrum can cause slower growth.

Can someone maybe link me to some cheap affordable lights? I'm trying to stay under $100 and have enough light for at least 2 plants.

i just meant its more effecient to use more daytime spectrum lights during vegging..i suppose having 2700k lights would be a good mix but the majority should be in the higher end spectrum

I'm new here so i haven't figured the photo posting yet. Here is some info on an experiment i did.
You can use as many floros as you like. The more you use the higher the temp which means more air needs to circulate if you're in a closet. The advantages of floros is low tempts and able to use aluminum foil as reflectors w/o worrying about any hot spots. Also, cool white (red spectrum) floros T-5 or T-8 or spiral will give you a shorter more stout plant in vegitation with shorter internode spacing and broader leaves.
I usually get 6-8 internodes in 3-4 wks @ 7 - 10" tall and flower after a month old.
i've found that the red spectrum can also cause auto flowering in some varities even under under 18/6
Based upon the number of plants and grow space size, you should flwr with 200w - 400w HPS to get descent size bud. If you prefre you can position floros above and around the sides your plant.
I've found that you get more bud sites and bigger buds w/ HPS than w/ MH, cool white floros than w/ warm white floros

Good Luck:weed:

Just keep in mind this simple principle:

More Light = More Bud

I won't go into the whole CFL debate but you need to think about how much you want vs. all the time you will put in to it. Is it really worth it to take care of that plant for 3 to 4 months just to get half an ounce, if that? For some people it is, not for me.
