I'm looking at buying a quantum type board with Samsung diodes, either from HLG, Spider Farmer, or a Chinese knockoff. This is for a veg room only, over a 4x4 tray. I'm confused about what size board I will need.
The Spider Farmer SF2000 claims the coverage for this board is 3'x4' veg, yet the board is a mere 25"x10". And the new HLG 100 V2 claims the coverage is 3 x 3 veg and the board is only 12.75" x 11.5". That is a pretty tiny board.
Are these coverage claims real? And, if I'm looking to cover a 4x4 veg space and want to try the boards with the Samsung diodes what size is recommended.
Thanks.
