quad tap ballast? anyone have an answer?

it means multi tap, or can use different voltage levels. the standards are:

120vac
208vac
240vac
400vac

the 120 and 240 are usually all you would ever use, and you use only one depending on your supply. these are your "hot wires", so if you use 120, you'd run your white supply line to the 120vac wire, etc. if you need wiring instructions, let me know.

also, if you're not afraid of wiring yourself, and don't mind not having pretty cases for your ballasts, you can find cheap ballast kits and bulbs from 1000bulbs.com
