pyrex bake a round?

Peace. I have recently had the opportunity to view a few deals on HID's on the ebay site and I was wondering if I get a pyrex bake a round what would the size have to be? The one that I viewed on ebay was a 3 1/4 in diameter. Would this be wide enough to support a 400-600W MH or HPS? I have found a few great deals on the lights without cool tubes (which I know I will need) that would fit my range in price and I found some cool tubes that are a bit too much for what I am working with at the moment. I am not asking how to make it, I am asking what is the size that I need or do they all come a standard size that I can use? I just don't want to spend on a tube that I can't use for the light that I will look to buy.

I know I need a 400W and I was looking at the 600W because of the efficiency that it is said to provide over the others (LPW), the only concern is the cool tube which I would certainly need because the cab that I have is only 3L x 3W x 4H. So I am interested in getting either one, whichever has a better deal and fits the budget, but the cool tube is a great concern. Can anyone assist me in figuring out if all Pyrex come with standard sizing or do I need to find one larger than the 3 1/4 in that I have seen?

Thanks for the time and plus rep for the info.

It should work with any HPS bulb as they are much thinner than MH bulbs
Those are the only sizes of pyrex bake arounds, if you want a bigger one than you should just buy a premade cool tube that is 6" diameter

PEACE TOM_420 The only thing now is that I have seen a few MH bulbs that were thin with a slight bubble in them would they work as well as the HPS. Appologies on the many ?'s but I don't want to spend the money on the switchable ballast and can't get a cool tube for it. Thanks for taking the time out to answer and as promised plus rep for you brother.

Most MH bulbs won't fit in the bake around
Check out this kit on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/400-WATT-400W-HPS-DIGITAL-GROW-LIGHT-AIR-COOL-TUBE-HOOD_W0QQitemZ180453856139QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a03e3538b

All you would need then is an MH bulb and that will def fit in that cool tube
PEACE. THANKS. That is the second option that I had looked at. You hav gone above and beyond the call and I appreciate it (regardless of my knowledge of this particular light kit). You are a gentleman and a scholar bro and I thank you again. This light fits into the budget but slightly (no job for a minute now) and that's why I was looking at naked ballast kits that would be cheaper or kits without reflectors. thanks again for your time and patience as well as speedy responses AND IF I CAN RETURN THE FAVOR ASK IT...
