you can keep it in air tight jars in a dark place for up to a year, after that you need a freezer.

Somewhere on this site I read that freezing wasn't so good because the crystals freeze and fall off the bud.

From what I know freezing it alone will not cause the crsytals to fall off. But if your were to handle them with force before they thawed there good be a chance of that happening. This is the reasoning behind ice hash. Myself I plan on heat shrinking them before storing in the freezer. They may compress a little but that causes no harm to them. Good Luck

Vac pack them. You can but them off the internet or even local supermarkets. Use a hoover to suck the air out, then vac pack

put it in the freezer, even if the crystals fell off, it would still be in the jar..... but if you handle without shaking it should scientifically be fine. but take it out early and you'll have to probably re-dry it after the ice melts

I have a similar situation, enough dank homegrown for a year so I gave them a good three week cure in caning jars and then I stored them in the freezer. In one of Ed Rosenthal's books he says you can keep your bud fresh indefinetly this way. Three months later when I remove a jar from the freezer and thaw, they are as fresh, moist and dank as the day I put them in. Good luck!
