Put bug net up to stop moths from laying caterpillar eggs but worried about Bug net damaging my buds

I put this bug net up on my plants to keep moths from laying caterpillar eggs on my buds every year they wreck havoc on my buds even after spraying BT weekly and other pesticides im just worried about the way the bug net is placed on the plant they are in transition to flower as of now so no buds are forming yet just wondering if anyone has had experience with this way of placing a bug net on their plant while the net is touching the buds worried about damage to the buds Im northern California Central valley so humidity isn't an issue
