Purpling stems?

Have had plants do this before but I keep finding different explanations, anyone figured out if this is good/bad/genetic etc?

Either not enough Mag/P or pH is out stopping these nutrients from being available.

Other case of purpling is genetics or cold environment. But cold environment typically only effects them when they are flowering. Results in purple leaves due to low P

Another cause of purple leaf stems is UVA, if you have it in your light.

Youll have strains that do that genetically as well...if the rest of the plant is on point n ur just noticing purple stems or purple stripes on stems more than likely its genetic...

Many strains have purple stems. Nothing to worry about and no need to try and fix anything. Let it grow.
