purple diesel pic update (medicinal grow)

Well I started a few pics awhile ago but the thread was more about CO2. Just wanted to update a few of ya on my grow and see what you guys think. any feed back would be appreciated! ( I havent been keeping a log this grow which has really screwed me) I believe Im somewhere between weeks 3-4

thanks brotha! I now currently have 50 views and 1 post(thanks to the 1 poster though). Kinda illeviates the point of why I posted this. Looking for feed back not people that want to just look and not reply so anyone with good or bad feed back would be much appreciated. Im not posting to show off Im posting to get opinions and info. In all honesty I feel like they are stretching a bit too much and for week 3 should have bigger flowers, anyone got any input????

i think that they are right on track for 3 weeks. as for the stretching they are gonna do this, especially in the first few weeks in flowering. i dont think that they look overly stretched. your strain does have some sativa in it, so it is bound to stretch a little. what kinda of system you running? (lights, soil/hydro). looking good and really healthy. keep up the good work

Thank you thats what Im looking for! Im running 2- 1000watt quantum ballast (hps bulbs in the hoods), Bio bizz soil, Bio bizz nutes, and CO2. Its hard to compare to my last grow due to a different strain so maybe Im just jumping the gun.

Plus Ive been reading up on organics and lots of info on how much organics can reduce your yield (which is Ok) Im just wondering how much it reduces it.

shit with that amount of lighting i wouldnt worry about stretching too much, unless you have them way high. i think those plants will fill in nicely. how big is your area. also how is that soil. i have just been using cheap soil, but on my next go round i am gonna either make my own mix or buy something a little higher end.

The total room is 8x8 and the soil I really do like. It has worm castings and perlite already premixed. Good water drainage and I use a foot candles meter to measure the light intensity. Anything over 5500 foot candles shuts down photosynthesis so I have them right around 5000 foot candles. I went with bio bizz soil because Im using there nutrient line and wanted to use apples with apples if ya know what I mean. Im growing for myself and 2 other patients so its a joint garden I guess you could say. I like the quantum ballast because you can adjust the power output. If you get a chance to check out the new high times mag there is a 3 page spread on spinning lights. I think I may invest and part with my fixed hoods and my ballast though. If I get this light set up on my next grow I will be doing a full journal on this site so I will keep you posted. Thanks for the feed back as well, although I have a few grows under my belt Im still learning soooo much so all the help is great.

The ballast are only running at 75% though not the full 1000 watts. Only about 750 per light bulb.

right on..how many plants u fitting in there with 2 x 1000?? clones? or seeds?...what size pots?...

Move the lights closer, your plants a mad stretching, the distance between nodes is to big. Your not going to get a good yield like that. You seed emergency supplementary lighting. Get some CFL's and drop them down between the plants about mid way. Maybe you can get some good buddz.

Thanks alot guys! Im trying to get away from "stick farming" there are quite a few plants in there just bunched together. I try to clean up the bottoms about half way up the plants but lacked on them a bit this grow due to the summer time blues. Thats a great idea though about the CFL's I think I'm going to run to home depot hahaha. I was concerned about the center colas stretching a bit. Some are right on point I believe and will have some nice buds but a few are stretching a bit too much. Ill keep the pics coming in a few days

Were using bio bizz but the flowering process was very week. they got to that point and never seem to swell. So we switched to Advanced Nutes to try and save the yield. We dropped the light down as well and we are still getting stretchy plants. I dont know what the reason is either. I did a hindu skunk grow last grow and it yielded huge kolas and internode spacing was very close. Plus I had the lights even higher on the last grow so it has to be strain dependant. Ill update some picks soon.

I just smoke some purple diesel last night with the bubble hash to match. smoked realed good.
