Temps in the night have dropped recently and now I've noticed this on my leaf and I can see p def in the others!! I live in the UK summers over that's why the temps have dropped all of a sudden. Do you think this could be the cause? I'm using canna nutes day 42 from flip to 12/12 been using pk13/14 for the last week @ 2ml a n b - 1/1.5ml pk13/14 - 2ml canna boost PHd at 5.9-6.1

8 plants under 2 600w hps
Daytime temps are cool

I think night time temps are playing f#€k with with p uptake maybe? Help me please guys I cant settle until i know for sure

Why would temps outside be playing havoc with your tent?

Is your tent outside or something?

It would need to be sustained low temps below 15C to cause uptake issues with P.

My intake draws its air from the same room the tent is in with the windows open 24_7. My lights out is 8pm so they are in the cold for 12 hours a night. I think the temps here have been as low as 9C at night outside.

I’m from the U.K. too.

In future here’s what you do. Run lights on during night and lights off during the day.

I intake from my soffits 24/7 even when it’s freezing outside my room runs between 18-21C between lights off and lights on.

What temps has your tent been reaching?

What are the high and low of your temp gauge inside your tent?

Another thing you can do is go to your loca gardening shop and look for a greenhouse heater.
They are tubular heaters that run around 80w and can be timer controlled.

I use one of these.

With winter fast approaching and nights and temps drawing in you may consider switching next time to lights on at night.

If you believe this issue to be related to cold temps then you either need to fix that or ride it out.

If it is caused by cold temps and you don’t fix the temperature expect it to continue regardless of how much P you chuck at your plant.

If it’s not a cold related issue then upping your PK13/14 would help for one feed and drop back to where you were.

Thanks for the replys mate!! I dont have a hygro metre in there I havent used one for years but I guess its near 75f in the day never more. I usually run the lights at night. Also I've been feeding minimal with the pk13/14 and this could be the other problem.

I have a heater in the room with a built in timer but I didnt use it. It's on now

I get what you mean about not needing one. I barely check mine.

You can feel it when your in there if it’s warm enough or cool enough, You can even feel the humidity.

Keep me posted.

And beautiful looking garden man. Very nice.

I wasnt sure where that was going to start with but what an interesting read that is, thanks for that.

I knew cold helped with pretty colours from messing around with plants outdoors when I was younger but I never knew why or if it was bad for the plant. I've seen plants just like the ones in them photos and funny enough they came out out of a warehouse that run lights on in the daytime and no heaters in night. Makes sense now.!!

Seeing as I'm so far in I'm turning the heater off it's an oil heater and expensive to run. I'll up the pk incase they are hungry tho
Perfect time for some chill. Those could turn out looking Knock Out if you use it.
