Purple/black leaves on lower internode branches!!

So a few days ago I noticed some lower leaves turning brown on the ends and edges, then they started to twist and curl upwards. After I noticed it we had an ice storm. I couldn’t keep my night temps warm enough. For about 3-4 days it got as low as 55-60F in there. Probably even lower below the canopy as cold sinks downward. I also noticed my Ppm wasn’t quite high enough too. So I raised it and added a bit of Bloom booster.
Any advice? I think it’s a phosphorus deficiency but could be wrong. Just wondering how to fix it because it doesn’t seem to be getting better.

water temps: 68-70
Ppm: 1050 (.5 conversion)
Ph: 5.8-6.0
Room temp: 85 day/75 night
Rh: 35-45

That's cold damage. It'll effect the youngest growth first. With the older growth being better able to take cold temps.

Don't do anything. Don't over think it. Don't change nothing. Watch the leaf surface temperature. Keep it within 72-78°f. Carry on like it never happened. The plant will most definitely recover.

how long will it take to recover? I corrected temps a few days ago and it’s still spreading. Is that normal?

Any growth that got too cold. Will continue to die until the plant sheds the dead growth. There's more internal damage then you see.

Let her heal herself. All you can do is keep her comfy from here on out.

most of that growth i was planning on pruning away (the small shoots that would produce next to nothing.) Is It still okay to do that?

Give her enough time to tell what growth was killed. After that, feel free to cut away any dead branches. Don't cut anything healthy at this point. She'll need it to recover as fast as she can.

On stunning. If that plant takes a month to veg. 60-65 days to flower. Add two weeks to either figure. She's been slowed down quite a bit.

damn so it’s gonna take an extra 2 weeks for it to flower? The cold temps happened during mid stretch. How bad is this going to effect my yield??

No idea. I've never had an indoor plant get frost bit. Since it was mid stretch. Forming roots. She was at the height of growth. You'll probably notice her stop or grow more slowly and then take off like it didn't happen.

Weight of harvest? It can go either way. One thing for sure above all else. She wants to reproduce. The stress might make her fight harder. To include going herm to make sure of survival.

I know it sucks but the only thing you can do is wait and see. The only thing you can control is her environment.

i gotcha. The weird thing is when I noticed the purpling and corrected the temps, they stretched like CRAZY. Like u know that last little push they give before the stretch phase is over, where they stretch ALOT, they did that within like 24 hours of correcting the temps. So maybe it didn’t cause as much damage as I thought? Might make sense cuz I use silica, indica plant, and the temps were only down below 60 for maybe half of the night cycle
