does anyone know if i should prune this plant as the leaves are taking light and space. i read you shouldnt cut leaves as they need them to grow but ive seen alot of plants with the bottom half pruned.

I NEVER left my fan leaves (water leaves) on plants until I read that here . . . and now that I'm flowering, I find myself taking them off anyway, as they suck up a LOT of light I don't have to give THEM. It certainly opened up the lower growth to some light and thus, some hope of a few decent lower budz.
Had I left them, I certainly wouldn't have made this little MaMa.

The only trimming one should do is the bottom branches or the skrawny branches that are not getting light. Cut the whole branch off.
