Any one got any advice on pruning these plant before I flower? Also first time taking clones from plant what size should clones be taking and what best part to take cuttings from? I have a ez cloner I’m gonna be putting them in View attachment 5417097View attachment 5417098
I would try to remove everything below screen, or trim up everything to the top about 3 nodes
You should be able to get a lot of nice clones from those,
Try to take cuttings from the top that look nice and healthy vs bottom cuttings imo

I agree with @livinthadream. I would probably clear at least a foot from the soil. Nothing down there will amount to much at all with the top half of the plant getting all the light.
Take the tallest tops, and cut them back to size with the rest of the plant. Those would probably be your best clones.

Beautiful plants btw
What kinda setup?
What strain?
Thanks for answering. My setup 4x8 tent with floraflex flex drip irrigation with drainage bottoms. running herbie seeds runtz punch now. Upgraded from 4x4 week ago before going to vacation and came back to this lol. I have one acinfinity evo8 led light in center of the tent all the way up to try and give all plants light lol. I have to pick up another light just not sure which light to pick up yet.

I like it
Will have good air flow
When are you flipping to flower?

Did you keep any cuttings?
Should be flipping as soon as I get another light just not sure which light to go with but gonna order something for sure tomorrow.
Yea I kept 8 cuttings that’s about it.

Great looking plants. I get why ya stripped them. Airflow n all that.

I usually use regenerated clones under a screen. Sometimes I remove them from the scrog and let them grow free standing to finish. Seem to get good air flow with a bunch of buds up top. I clean them out underneath but no quite as much as you do..lol

nice plant, my plant looked like your last grow but I didn’t trim bottom growth and got a lot of popcorn buds. This time around I did less colas. Hopefully I get bigger buds this time around. Here a pic of last growIMG_3234.jpeg

Those look real nice. I love a good even canopy. How many plants are in that space?
I can't really say I'm getting popcorn buds. She's getting heavy and sagging..lol IMG_20240820_201246176_HDR.jpg

it’s 4 plants in a 4x4. this time around I only did couple cola per plant. This is my 4x8 6 plants as of today also keeping up with pruning. Think I’m gonna have to prune one last time before flower. IMG_3935.jpeg

I really like your more is less approach. So many cram a lot of plants in a space and wonder why they don't harvest much.
4 in a 4x4 is perfect. I try to give a plant at least a 2x2 space to grow. That 4x8 is looking great. I see your thinking out is doing well. I've not tried this approach yet.
I'm gonna head over to your thread..lol. A scrog grower always draws me in..lol

Question when in flowering when do you stop pruning? I’m in end of week one in flower and bushy as hell also a lot of growth in between nodes.

You can prune bud sites near the whole way in flower and the plant loves it ..I think ..as long as it dosent stress them
I go branch at a time work your way from the main stem
Buds not getting good light is a bit of a liability to the bud at the end of the branch

Your grow looks right on time. Definitely more thinned out than my scrogs. I'd just remove leaf at this point. You look pretty set on pruning branches.

See the difference. Mines a bit more packed in than yours. I think yours looks just right. Nice job!

@Fatjoe here a pic from this morning. I have to low stress train because growth is getting crazy and trim some of older leafs but I don’t wanna stress out to much. IMG_4041.jpegIMG_4040.jpegIMG_4028.jpeg
