Protection from Frost

im just wondering if there are any good methods of protecting plants from frost besides a greenhouse or changing the lighting early. im in new england, and im growing a sativa dominant plant to my knowledge. im afraid of the coming frost obviously. any input?

i got same problem.. i think if you watch weather and know when frosts comming you can put a blanket on the blant threw the night. thats wat we would do to protect tomatoes in florida from frost
