Hey everyone, Im having a delema about how to vent my "AirTight" 250W HPS in the darkroom DR100.. Its dimensions are 39.6"x39.6"x72" ... Here is a diagram of how it will be set up. I have two inline fans (blue) that are about 170CFM a peice.. Will these work to cool my 250W SEPERATLY from the rest of the tent? How would you setup this system with the equipment i currently have? Remember the light has an airtight peice of glass so i want to have two seperate cooling systems, one for the light, and one for the rest of the tent. Thanks in advance..

You've got the right concept.
Just, remember it's better to push air over your light then pull.
So put your filter and fan before the light and exhaust out.

Are you sure its better to push air over the lights? I know it is more effective to Pull through a carbon filter...... My filter will actually be totally seperate from this system.. it wont need a filter because the light will be part of a closed system that just flows right through the tent , from left to right. The carbon filter and other fan will act as the exaust for the entire tent except the light

Your right you don't need a filter if your light is a separate system.
But, yes it is better on your fan to push cool air instead of sucking hot air.

i agree, blow air to the lights, it will work just as good if not better to suck the air out, but you will wind up with a dead fan from all the heat, suck air from the carbon filter
