Hi steve,

What nutrients are you using? How long till you harvest?

What's your feeding schedule?

The yellow suggests a N deficiency but I'm not sure without more info, try to provide more. I wouldn't flush yet because you may make things worse for yourself.

we are using coco bloom
we are only 2 weeks in, so i would guess at 6 weeks to go
feed one day on, one day just plain water
hope this helps a bit more

cheers

how big are your containers , had something similar before my plant turned out to be root bound

AS long as you have at least a gallon pot roots should be ok at this time.Definately looks like a Nitrogen deficiency though. The coco can be a little tricky to get use to.Your at 2 weeks veg so 1 more week min then 7-8 weeks flowering so figure about 8 weeks harvest and then 2 weeks dry trim and minimum cureing. So about 10 weeks til smokin if all goes well.Id look at checking the nitrogen if your feeding nutes in watre get a higher level of Nitrogen for veg and then higher Potaseum for flower.Good luck

nitrtogen. you need it. see this a lot, people switch to bloom and don't realize you still need nitrogen. i bet it starts on the larger lower leaves and works it's way up. the bigger leaves yellowing first.

yeah i still feed with nutes high in N up to two weeks into flowering along with my bloom. the plants need some N built up to last through flowering.

Word! Don't deprive them of the N even though you're in the flowering stage. They still need it. You're also pretty early in the flower stage so def don't deprive them of the nitrogen.

Ideally need to know what you've been feeding it with, because without that it's pretty hard to tell you what the problem is. Coco bloom? What is that? Are you growing in coco cuir?

It could be lots of things - Nitrogen, Magnesium, Potassium.

i dont think its nitrogen. ive had magnesium lockout that looked just like this. from my experience (without lockout) it would take a huge lack of N to make leaves yellow that fast.. you said 2 weeks right/

coco bloom is for the flowering stage (like tomorite)
am i right in thinking the problem is a Nitrogen deficiency,
if so is there any need in flushing them at all? :blsmoke:

and the hole plant is yellow, dont know if it went from bottom to top

sorry forgot to say
yes we are 2 weeks in to flower ( just come off 5 veg)
another this is, when we put it to flower it was 6ins is only 9ins now
3 ins in 2 weeks is very slow

if its magnesium lock out what do we do to put this right ?
and any reason why this happened, so we cant avoid it happeining again
cheers:blsmoke:

You say they are in deep pots, and you water every day?

Let them dry out before watering again.

You feed them every other day? Unless it's dilute organic nutes, that's too much, too often.

I have the same problem, but I read some where that when the nutes get old they dont work right. My plants started yellowing in the 5wk of flowering.I checked the nutes, pour some in a glass and held it up to the light. There was chunks floating in the glass.I think the nutes are not doing there job and locking out some nutes.I dont have any fresh nutse, so I use some schultz plant food,10-15-10 they are starting to respond alittle.I did flush them out and I think that helped too.I ordered new nutes {this time GH nutes}.What do you guys think of GH nutes?I'll be watching here and if I find out what causes this for sure I'll put it up.I do think it is nitrogen and magnesium and PH change in the soil. Peace

It may be lock up. If you are feeding ever other day, then I would agree that is too much. If you feed the plants too much you start to get build up around the roots, I believe the build up is a salt of some kind. This will lock out the plants ability to absorb any new nutrients it needs. I would flush the plants a bit and lay off the nutes for a little while. And when I say flush, don't drown your plants!! Just water enough so you see water come out of the pots a bit and let them dry out. Do this for a few more times and I think they will eventually snap out of it! Not 100% sure this is your problem but this is my best educated guess with the info you've given.
